ANCHORED in Transition is designed to meet you in your middle moment — the space between no longer and not yet. Whether you’re grieving, starting over, untethered from an old identity, or unsure what comes next, this experience will help you reconnect with the steady parts of yourself and embrace your next chapter — rooted and ready!

Breathwork + Meditation

Guided by a master holistic practitioner, you will engage in diaphragmatic breath techniques to stimulate your Central Nervous System. Specifically, the Parasympathetic System, the calming state that takes you out of flight, fight or freeze. This mindful practice is designed to help you balance your heart, mind and spirit and prepare you for the reflective work ahead.

Workshop: “Mapping The Middle”

This 90-minute session offers space to ground yourself when everything around you is shifting. With a focus on intention, mindset and action, you’ll reflect, engage in guided prompts, join in group dialogue and explore grounding practices. You will map where you are, gain clarity and insight, gather tools to stay anchored in the NOW and navigate what’s next with momentum and confidence.

Meet Your Experts

  • Holistic Interior Designer & Wellness Coach

    As an interior designer, I’ve transformed spaces for over 23 years and have found immense joy in working with clients to establish and execute a vision for their home.

    Over the course of my design career and personal journey, I’ve grown to understand and embrace the impact our spaces have on our overall well-being. Our personal development and how we move through the world is deeply rooted in our built environment and our conscious daily choices. There’s an undeniable connection between the two disciplines.

    The expansion of my work into the wellness space began in my own personal journey. In 2015, my life changed the day I said “Yes!” to an invitation to take a heated spin class at Sweat Cycle—cardio in the heat…on a bike! Crazy, right? Well, as life would have it, I discovered a deep love for community and a passion and gift to teach, lift and inspire those seeking growth, balance and more joy in their own lives. Five years ago, I became a Certified Trainer and later added Wellness Coach to my role at the studio.

    Whether you desire to transform your inner or outer world, my mission is to help you broaden your vision, reach greater authentic power and purpose and experience more joy along the way. It begins with the courageous choice of saying YES!

  • Certified Reiki Practitioner, Certified Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Certified Yin Meridian Specialist, Certified Myofascial Release Provider, Certified IPATH Pilates Instructor, and she is a Certified Back & Nervous system Specialist

    Vanessa’s intention is to connect with and support women who are burned out from stress and need balance. Vanessa assists women in reclaiming the power of the feminine, the art of stillness, and the importance of restoration.

    She offers holistic services with a trauma informed background. Chicana owner and founder of Wellness By Vanessa G, and a Native Angeleno born in East Los Angeles. 

    She is an Attunement Wellness Coach. Vanessa helps attune people physically, energetically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. To attune means to bring into harmony; to tune. She does one and group sessions and specializes in being with others and helps them embody the arts of self care and self love. 

    Decolonizing ingrained systems of power and dominance in health, food, culture, and our societal belief systems are essential, and she loves helping others know there are holistic indigenous alternatives. She believes in the power of nature and nature being our medicine and food. She also inspires others lean into their ancestral ways.

    Vanessa received her BA in Performing Arts in dance and has been training/coaching/spiritual advising for over 20 years. Currently, she is in the process of getting clinically certified in Aromatherapy (Level 1 & 2) with the New York Aromatherapy Institute.

Overview

  • This luxury home is nestled on a private road in prestigious Toluca Lake Estates. As you make your way towards the home, you will enter upon an 1/2 acre lot with lush grounds and bountiful fruit trees. The estate offers ultimate privacy and generous spaces on the grounds to create delightful moments and an overall memorable experience for you.

    Address will be provided prior to day of event.

    1. Where do I park?

      There is plenty of parking available on quiet residential street.

    2. What is the attire?

      This is a casual and intimate indoor/outdoor event. Comfortable clothing is encouraged.

    3. Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

      No, we are creating a comfortable space for our meditation and breathwork session.

    4. Can my reservation be cancelled after booking?

      Yes, you may cancel a confirmed reservation up to 48 hours prior to event date for a full refund. See terms at booking.
